The following training sessions are right now offered to the public. All training sessions will be teached by the administrator of the MédiaTel web server Matthias Schmitt. The courses will be offered in English or German language, depending on the requirements and wishes of the course participants.

1st Session :
Global Introduction to the Internet

Required : Basic knowledge on Mac or PC.
Objective : This course will allow you to discover the Internet World and its different services. It will explain how the Internet works and how to use its services and tools.
The goal of this course is to make the participants comfortable with viewing and using World Wide Web documents.

Objective : This course enables the participants to create their own Web Pages. It provides information beyond simple HTML editing. You will learn how to create your own images and how to embed multimedia and interactive data in your Web Pages.

Required : The content of the 1st and 2nd sessions. Also programming knowledge in the C or Perl Programming Language.
Objective : CGI -Common Gateway Interface- allows you to extend the functionality of your Web Server beyond static HTML Pages. If you wish to create dynamic Web Pages, reacting on user input, if you want to create an interface to a database, then CGI is the solution to your problem.
