MédiaTel is a telecommunication service of the Centre de Ressources Multimédia (CR-MM). Its purpose is to improve the communication between the Centre de Ressources Multimédia (CR-MM), the Laboratoire d'Ingénierie du Multimédia (LIM) and their partners by offering a common platform for information interchange.
MédiaTel addesses everybody working in the multimedia domain, national and international : producers, specialists in media, communication, and marketing, trainers, teachers, audiovisual centres, or software developers. They may work for the government or in the industry.
Aimed at the information flow in industry, MédiaTel tries to improve the development of multimedia technologies. MédiaTel allows its partners to participate in multimedia experiments to push the development of telematic services.
Beside this, MédiaTel presents the CR-MM and its activities world-wide on the Internet. Everybody can find here information about the projects we have done, the work we are doing, and the things coming in the future. Please tell us what you think about them and if you would like to know more.
If you are not interested in the CR-MM or its work, MédiaTel may still be useful for you. We want to offer know-how and tools related only to multimedia. We try to keep the selection of these data system independent and up-to-date. In contrast to many other servers MédiaTel does not organise its data sorted by hardware- or software-platforms. We organise it problem-oriented and in an hypertext-form.
